Pedicure

A pedicure is a cosmetic foot and nail care procedure. There are many different kinds of pedicures with various techniques, a traditional or standard pedicure often occurs at a nail shop especially Nails in Holt. As our client, you will undoubtedly get the following as you relax in a comfortable chair:

  • Soak your feet in warm water to soften and relax your skin and toenails.
  • A foot scrub, typically performed with a pumice stone, foot file, or other tool, to remove calluses and flaky, dry foot skin.
  • Applying moisturiser by giving your feet and lower legs a quick massage.
  • A meticulous toenail trim and filing.
  • A cuticle treatment for nails that involves pushing back the cuticles using nourishing cuticle oil.
  • Applying basecoat, toenail, and top coat polishes, then quickly drying your nails with a nail dryer.

Depending on your foot health and if you prefer to apply polish, a traditional pedicure might take anywhere from 30 to 60 minutes.

DIFFERENT TYPES OF PEDICURE

  • BASIC PEDICURE: Start with the basic pedicure if you want to sample the most basic bundle. Soaking your feet, cutting and filing your nails, pushing back and cleaning your cuticles, exfoliating and moisturising your feet are all standard pedicure procedures. To have a pretty pedicure in Holt before you leave, our nail technician will apply a base coat, two coats of your chosen polish colour, and a top coat.

  • MINI PEDICURE: The mini pedicure, also known as the express pedicure, offers many of the same treatments as a standard pedicure but in a shorter amount of time if time is of the essence. You will still get your nails cleaned, cut, filed, and polished so that you can look your best in a short amount of time, but the foot exfoliation and hydration is ignored.

  • GEL PEDICURE: Another definition of a gel pedicure is the kind of nail polish used. Our nail technician will finish up your basic pedicure by applying two coats of thick nail paint and a clear top coat. You will use a UV light to cure your nails after each coat. To get a gel in Cromer is quite durable and powerful, and it should stay on your feet for at least two to three weeks, if not longer.
